Small changes that you can make TODAY...

  • Buy second-hand or thrift your clothing.  

  • Switch to email rather than paper delivery/receipts.

  • Turn off the water while you brush your teeth. 

  • Turn off the water while you lather your hair in the shower. 

  • Make larger loads of laundry instead of small ones.

  • Try Meatless Monday or add more veggies to your diet.

  • Use reusable cloth/silicone female hygiene products. 

  • Don't use rat poison to get rid of rodents.

  • Grow succulents instead of flowers or water dependent plants.

  • Use a coffee press instead of a Keurig.

  • Clean out glass bottles and use them as vases, cups, etc.

  • Donate paper towel roll centers to schools for crafts. 

  • Use bamboo/cloth facial pads instead of makeup wipes. 

  • Buy from local businesses that supply locally grown foods.

  • Compost food and paper scraps. 

  • Use bar soap/shampoo instead of bottled.

  • Use metal safety razors rather than single use plastic razors.

  • Switch to bamboo/recycled plastic toothbrushes. 

  • Bring your own reusable coffee cup/bottle when visiting a coffee shop.

  • Choose a cloth mask instead of a disposable plastic mask.

  • Unplug electronics when you aren't using them.
